KAIVO

The short version

KAIVO itself collects no personal data. The game may display advertisements, and advertising partners may process limited data to show them.

What the game collects

KAIVO has no accounts and no registration. Your gameplay is not tracked by us, and the game itself sends nothing to our servers. The game works offline.

Advertising

KAIVO may display third-party advertisements. When ads are shown, our advertising partners may collect and process limited information on their own behalf — such as a device advertising identifier, approximate region, and ad interaction data — solely to deliver and measure ads. On iOS, any tracking across other companies' apps happens only if you allow it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads may still appear but will not be personalized in that way. The specific partners and their policies will be listed here whenever advertising is active in the current version.

Your progress and settings

Level progress and preferences are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us, and they are deleted when you remove the app. We have no way to access, restore, or transfer them.

This website

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc. When you visit, GitHub may technically process data such as your IP address in server logs, as described in GitHub's Privacy Statement. This site itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Platform services

KAIVO is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may process certain information on its own behalf as the platform operator — such as purchase records, crash diagnostics you have opted into sharing, and App Store analytics — under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive personally identifiable information from these services.

Children's privacy

KAIVO is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The game contains no chat, no social features, and no user-generated content. If advertising is active in your version, ads are configured to be appropriate for a general audience.

Data retention

Since we collect nothing, we retain nothing. Emails you send to our support address are kept only as long as needed to help you, then deleted.

Security

The best protection for your data is not collecting it. Everything the game needs lives on your device, protected by your device's own security.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because KAIVO does not collect personal data, in most cases there is nothing for us to provide or delete — but you can always exercise these rights, or ask us anything about them, at the address below. For data processed by advertising partners (when ads are active), requests can also be made directly to those partners; we will list them on this page and help you reach them.
